After many years of loving the world yet disobeying its Creator, I found myself lost after high school. But then my life changed for the greater when Jesus met me, calling me out of darkness into His marvellous light. As my relationship with our Lord grew, I longed for a way to honor Him, which led me to revive my forgotten childhood hobby of painting. With no education in art, I placed it all in God’s hands, and now, two years later, I am so grateful to express my love for Scripture by painting!
As I paint, I am always reminded that the beauty of art is not the skill of the artist, but the proof of a Divine Designer. As artists, we may spend years attempting to capture only an image of what God has already succeeded in creating and making perfect. In this, I pray that anyone who comes across my work will not see my art, but His.
Early on however, I realized that I could not paint from my heart, but from His. And so I began to dedicate many hours to researching and studying scripture before my brush ever touched the canvas, allowing the true power of His Word to speak. Whether by the poetry embedded in nature, the clear historical proof, or the countless connections in each verse, everything proclaims His eternal majesty and He alone is worthy to be praised!
